Knob Rosette
PLEASE Help! How do I remove a Schlage Door Handle?
I really need to change out my door handles. Both of them are basic SCHLAGE door knobs. One is a locking one and the other is not. I have already removed the knobs on the non-locking one, but I can not figure out how to remove the rosette? part. I have tried turning it to unscrew it and I have tried prying it with a flathead screwdriver and the thing dosent budge..Im not 100% sure on what series these handels are but the face plate has an F on it so i am assuming that it is a series F. PLEASE ANY help is aprriciated.
After you unscrew the handle and then remove the handles(Both Sides) the middle should be able to be pushed out. On some doors the rosette has a face plate which needs to be unscrewed. Maybe it’s just tight????
